Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 5.x • Re: Should I migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL?

As one example 3rd party extension Akeeba Backup (etc) won't run on PostGreSQL. That support was removed in Joomla 3 for Akeeba Products.
