Hi all!
I have a list of articles in Spanish that, when alphabetized, looks like this:
¿"Cabestro"?
¿Antes que nada o antes que todo?
¿Arroba o aroba?
¿Dónde va el donde?
A su vez
Aboliciona no, abole sí
Adjetivos singulares
Cuarto Menguante
I'd like the website to ignore the non-alpha characters and alphabetize like this:
Aboliciona no, abole sí
Adjetivos singulares¡Qué barbaridad!
¿Antes que nada o antes que todo?
¿Arroba o aroba?
A su vez
¿"Cabestro"?
Cuarto Menguante
¿Dónde va el donde?
So, I'd like the system to only use the alphanumeric characters when alphabetizing. I'd like the site to ignore exclamation points, question marks, quotation marks and all other non-alpha characters and place the title where it would go if these characters were not there. Thus ' ¿Antes ' should go where ' Antes ' would go. The site is about language so punctuation is important, I can't simply omit them, which is what I'm on the verge of doing if I can't find a solution... Thanks!
